A psycho-educational evaluation is for 3 year olds through adults and addresses concerns about learning, attention, academics, language processing, memory, and school performance.Have you observed:
- Speaks later than most kids
- Is unable to find the right word when carrying on a conversation
- Has trouble learning alphabet, days of the week, colors, shapes, numbers, and/or rhyming
- Has difficulty interacting with others
- Has difficulty organizing and finishing tasks
- A tendency to think literally rather than abstractly
- Makes consistent reading and spelling errors
- Is slow to learn new skills
- Clumsy or awkward motor skills
- Avoids reading or is slow to learn to read
- Has difficulty with word problems in math
- Has difficulty remembering or understanding what was just read
- Has difficulty with writing tasks
- Inappropriate or insensitive social behaviors
- Has trouble focusing or concentrating
- Misreads directions and information
- Isn't able to complete tests in the time allotted
